Kannski is an artist-run exhibition space located downtown. We show work that feels different from that commonly seen in the Reykjavik art scene. We are a space that emphasizes work by POC, LGBTQIA+ individuals and minority groups. Our selections are made without consideration of age, background or exhibition history.

Kannski is run by Sadie Cook, Diljá Þorvaldsdóttir and Fríða Katrín Bessadóttir.

We welcome exhibition proposals throughout the year, and hold an open call each spring.
